A Social Network for Children
Concept: Our visual-based social network is for the digital viewing community that helps children (K-12) connect with each other. A secure platform with parental and tutor control; the network will bring about a difference in the upbringing of a child. Role: My role in the team was purely based of leadership. The best way to lead is to listen first. I made sure every member of the team was heard and the ideas were thorough. Right from assigning tasks, creating schedules and conceptualising ideas were a part of my daily routine. Additionally, having experience in technology and multi-media, I was responsible for creating logic to the system. We made sure to have a little fun, go out on picnics and attend cultural events in order to build relationships and empathy for each member in the team.
