Augmenting UX using audio
Concept: Being a music enthusiast and passionate about user experience, I decided to explore how the latter could be enhanced by the former. Noted from the research, user experience designers face various challenges in curating specific pleasurable moments that end up becoming ephemeral in nature. As audio has been a part of culture, community and addressability to humans since their existence through sounds or music as it plays a psychological and cognitive role in their lives. If we can tap into users needs and device a system that curates need-based experiences for them in real-time, the momentary pleasures could become everlasting experiences. Role: This project is the part of my Final Project / Thesis for my masters program at SCAD. It was conducted solely by me over a 10 weeks timeline.
